there is a fly in my window...

and it is driving me crazy. I feel strikingly similar to this fly. See, I've got the giant window, it is a gorgeous day and I'd just like to be outside. The green is returning to the trees, allergies are running rampant here, it is most definitely spring.

Pastor Craig made a good point in his comment to my last post. It is true, God is always moving, but sometimes we choose to stay stationary and not let what God is doing change us for the better. I think that's where I was when I wrote that last one. Hopefully I'm on the upswing away from that.

Thankfully, God places experiences in my life that make me wake up and realize there are winds of change. I'm helping out with this worship service this Sunday and next, and I hadn't fully gotten into it until yesterday when I could really get excited about where we were heading for Easter. I felt back in the element and ready to take on the world. It was great. Now we'll see how that translates to Sunday morning... eek! Definitely throw up a prayer for this new service if you would, and for someone who might be a little shaky back at the reigns. Scratch that, I'm not at the reigns in worship, God is. So pray for a little guidance and the ability to let worship ring from my heart this Sunday and next.

Bible study tonight. We're headed into Luke 10. I'm always excited to head there on Tuesday nights because it gives me a chance to do some serious Bible study and we always have a blast. When we discussed the Geresene pigs a couple of weeks back, we had this huge discussion about what the pigs did and why they had to be punished for just existing. There was some genuine concern for those pigs, that's for sure.

I'm also excited for my study tomorrow morning, even though I haven't grown fond of this particular study, I've missed the last 2 weeks with the group and I miss them. Two weeks ago my friends were here, and last week was spring break so it was cancelled. It will be good to catch up and see what is going on in all of their lives. I also know I learn a ton from them because oh... all but about 3 of us are moms and I definitely gain insight. I'm beginning to think all of these experiences in parenting before I'm a parent will either make me not want to have kids or be the best mom ever. Haha.

Until next time...
